Job Description
In your role as Payroll Specialist, you are responsible for the processing of monthly payrolls, working with a Centralised Payroll solution. As part of the People Services Team, you are the first point of contact for all payroll, compensation and benefits and related inquiries. In addition you advise the People Services Manager on all aspects of the payroll cycle as well as contributing to the establishment and improvement of processes and procedures internationally.
- Execute a full payroll administration process for different legal entities across multiple EU countries (NL, CH, GER, BE and UK).
- Plan, provide, control, and review accurate salary information to our external payroll provider through a centralised payroll platform (ADP Celergo).
- Perform payroll case management (complex payroll cases with, for example, secondments, 30% ruling, NL Werkkosten regeling, etc).
- Act as the first line support for Payroll related queries & requests from People Services and Business Partners.
- Be responsible for continuous improvement of HR and payroll processes, execution, and technology usage.
- Be responsible for robust payroll validation and control processes for all countries we operate in.
- Process all administration regarding salaries for tax purposes, input salary information regarding social security issues.
- Facilitate audits by providing records and documentation to auditors..
- Actively apply a lens of and integrate Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) in everything the People & Culture Team does, develop solutions to establish corresponding workplace practices.
Qualifications
- Must have full working rights in The Netherlands
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
- A minimum of 2-4 years’ professional experience in HR administration
- Experience with the Dutch payroll administration process is required while other EU countries are a strong plus.
- Experience in a payroll function in a fast-paced, international environment, using in-house and outsourced software (knowledge of ADP Celergo is a plus)
- Able to process international payroll with a deep understanding of processes, systems and relevant legislation (wage, tax, pension and social security).
- Solid knowledge of international statutory requirements.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and in writing
